2010 NC State Christmas Trees
A beautiful addition to any holiday tree, The Fraser Fir ornament commemorates North Carolina's Official Christmas Tree designated an official state symbol in 2005. Designed by N. C. artist Sidney Baynes, the ornament showcases one of the beautiful Christmas tree farms in the state.

The N. C. tree industry is ranked first in the nation in terms of dollars per tree and 2nd in the number of trees harvested.

The Fraser Fir, native to the Appalachian mountains, is named after John Fraser, a Scottish botanist who explored the Mountains in the late 1700's.
