Refund policy

Returns
Returns and exchanges are allowed within 30 days of purchase.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. If it is defective, please contact us and refunds will be evaluated on a case-by-case-basis.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. 

While The NC Museum of History on Edenton St. is closed for a major multi-year renovation, The Museum Shop is NOW OPEN at our new location at 108 Glenwood Ave, in Downtown Raleigh! 

Store Hours: Monday -Saturday 9:30am to 5:30pm

If returning by mail, contact us first. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If exchanging, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you will vary depending on location and product availability. 

Clearance items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately final sale items cannot be refunded or exchanged.
